The rights described in this chapter are cumulative of other rights or remedies to which an elderly individual may be entitled under law. 4) Texas Human Resources Code  § 533-042 - Evaluation of Elderly Residents, which states: (a) The department shall evaluate each elderly resident at least annually to determine if the resident can be appropriately served in a less restrictive setting.
